"Something analogous to an "..."

Something analogous to an "original research" disclaimer would be helpful here. If I read a Wikipedia article about a thought experiment it means I'm reading about a famous thought experiment that third parties know about; it would be helpful to more clearly identify this page as a local pedagogical tool that someone randomly came up with.

Also, "GalCom" sounds like it ought to expand to "gal committee" to me, but maybe that's just me.
