(What's a valence shell?)\n\nWhen a reader spots a typo, a spelling or a grammar error, they can create a **typo** mark. For example:\n\n* "tommorrow" (Spelling error. Should be "tomorrow".)\n* "The affect is instantaneous." (Grammar error. Should be "The effect is instantaneous.")\n\nIf the reader has a question or an objection, they can create a **[3bp query]** mark.\n%%\n### Resolving a mark\n\nThere are several ways to resolve a mark:\n\n1. Edit the page:\n * Edit the relevant part of the text to make it more clear.\n * A small change like adding a [17f link] or moving some text around might work.\n * Adding a requirement for the page.\n2. Simply resolve the mark if it has already been addressed.\n3. Dismiss the mark if doesn't make sense.\n\nIf you aren't sure what to do, just leave the mark for other authors to fix.',
